Painkiller: Recurring Evil Activation Fix

Updated: Mar 12, 2020

About This Game Battle never ceases in the realm known as Hell. This time around it's a battle for the freedom of your very soul. Will you be able to escape from the prison hidden in the darkest deepest chasm of Hell? Do you have enough courage to travel through the most dangerous and twisted areas, infamous for their unsafety, even among demons themselves? Are you prepared to significantly reduce the demonic population?Once again you have the chance to experience the magnificent dark atmosphere of the good (or evil?) Painkiller, the only true oldschool First Person Shooter, tough as nails, without a trace of remorse, without a glimpse of motion blur or other technological makeup. Just Painkiller and nothing else matters!Key features:5 completely new levels with impressive locations like an Angkor temple, a massive old warehouse and a highway where hundreds of cars crashed.A new campaign of 5+ hours of new and genuine Painkiller action!Even more bloodshed and action per square meter: immerse into freaking intense gameplay & ultimately challenging FPS action More dense maps and sick enemies than ever before: kill over 6,000 uniquely spawned wicked monsters Continues the story of Bill ShermanImproved graphics, AI, environments as well as new atmospheric soundtrack 7aa9394dea Title: Painkiller: Recurring EvilGenre: ActionDeveloper:Med-ArtPublisher:THQ NordicFranchise:PainkillerRelease Date: 29 Feb, 2012 Painkiller: Recurring Evil Activation Fix Its a ok game, though I kinda expect more. The text scenes are already tiring since Redemption and the levels are too short. But the huge amount of enemies are good to kill time, I give this 7/10 if rating.. shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things shoot things. It *is* better than Redemption and especially Ressurrection, but considering those are two of the most♥♥♥♥♥♥poor attempts at making a videogame I've ever played that's like saying that Desert Gunner is better than Air Control. It's functional, yes, but that doesn't really make it good. It's got the same "kill a million dudes, another six feet of the level opens, then kill a million more dudes" that the last two had, but the main difference here is that that "zillion" is down from the "trillion" that Redemption had. Redemption was unplayable because you simply did not have the space, health, or ammo to kill all the enemies in each level. This one you actually do, and i was able to play through in insomnia difficulty without ragequitting like in Redemption, where going through without cheating was virtually impossible due to bad game design.Which is this game's problem, the design. It's not BAD, like in Redemption. It's not completely broken like in Redemption where it's unplayable. But it's not quirky like Overdose and it's not excellent like Black and BooH or H&D, it's just kinda... there. There isn't much to recommend here. It's functional. It's about six hours of painkilling entertainment. But it's not really any good entertainment. No new weapons, enemies. There are five levels: A church (seriously, enough with the dang churches. Every painkiller's had a church level and it's just never that interesting), a highway (the sole interesting map), a graveyard (again, yes, for the fifth game in a row), a warehouse (yes, again, another damn warehouse), and a mayan temple that's actually kinda cool, and one other level so generic I forgot about it already. So all in all, if you're like me and on a holy quest to play every painkiller game ever made, get it because it is in fact a painkiller game.If you just want to spend ten bucks on a good game, well... it isn't. It's not bad, but it sure isn't good.. Recurring Evil is copy paste qulity. The worst version ever. 7hours and finished. No story, no new weapons, boosses so useless.. This plays like a lazy, fan-made Painkiller mod. Just infinitely re-spawning enemies with no story and rarely even a scenery change. I'm a big Painkiller fan, but it wasn't long before this felt more like a thankless chore than playing a game. Pulling weeds is just as fun and actually useful. The graphics are inferior to the very first Painkiller game--huge bland polygons I haven't seen since the Mid '90s. It's a shame because I think a next gen Painkiller game with a new graphics engine and story would be a big hit.. I recommend you to buy something else. This game is total crap. Boring as ♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥♥iest level design I've seen in years. If you want a Painkiller game, pick Painkiller: Black Edition.. I will always recommend the painkiller series to anyone who loves the old style FPSThis game bundles all it's editions on a regular basis for a great price get them all!. This is by far the worst game I've played in the Painkiller series. Repetitive, no strong story line, and basically felt like it was recycled from other games in the series. There's only FIVE LEVELS AND ONE BOSS FIGHT AT THE END OF THE GAME WHICH IS THE SAME DAMN BOSS YOU FIGHT AT THE END OF OVERDOSE. It's only worth getting on sale. Even Redemption is better than this. Save your money, buy Painkiller Black or Overdose instead.. The year is 2012, the Painkiller series has been mistreated and brutalized after merely one successful game released in 2004, and now lies in ruins. Med-Art decide it is their turn to drive another dagger into the inert, lifeless heart of the violated beast. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it"; an esoteric and unfamiliar phrase that echoes around in their bewildered head, but the meaning behind is lost, and the voices fade as they plunge the icy, adamantine blade into the core of the bloodstained creature. All mistakes repeated, nothing learnt, it's only saving grace is a swifter duration of torture, a total accident and in no way a deliberate intention to improve the experience. All the evils of the series are indeed recurring and at this point, unsurprising, commonplace and expected.3/10
